| The
Logic Trailed Chain Harrow combines a tried and
tested chain link design, with a practical raise and
lower frame, to provide a simple, cost effective and
easy to use pasture management implement. The unit
can be supplied as a complete harrow, or frame only,
to be attached to existing chain harrows of designs
supplied or approved by Logic, up to a maximum of 6
feet wide. Use of the harrow couldn't be simpler. An
interlocking raise and lower handle activates twin
springs to assist lifting the chain links from the
ground both front and rear, to maintain a level attitude.
This provides an easy means of clearing off trash when
harrowing mature grass, and good ground clearance for
transporting to other sites. A screw jack is fitted
to enable easy coupling and decoupling to a wide range
of suitable towing vehicles e.g. ATV, 4 x 4, compact
tractor etc. As well as maintaining fields and paddocks,
the harrow is ideal for horse gallops, all weather
surface training areas, parks, golf courses, landscape
gardening and general horticultural use. |

LOGIC
SUPER HARROW LSH150/200 uses Einbock® technology,
which pioneered organic weeding and plant stimulation.
Grass paddocks
are rejuvenated by the action of combing, to aerate the
soil surface and remove dead grass. It pulls out choking
weeds
like chickweed, as well as
evenly spreading molehills and dried muck.
This system encourages grass growth over a longer season, with healthier
grazing conditions and reduced fertilizer costs. It is equally at home on
many all-weather
surfaces where maintenance involves levelling and re-incorporating the top
surface before rolling, e.g. running tracks
and hockey pitches, etc.
Width options of 1.5m or 2.0m allow fast work rates, feature adjustable tine
settings for various conditions and easy transport facility. The unit is raised
and lowered by an electric ram actuator with remote control, this allows use
behind a wide range of vehicles including ATVs, tractors or 4
x 4. The Logic Super Harrow is built with high quality components throughout,
to ensure durability and long life.

HARROWS
COMPARISON
There is a wide choice of harrows to choose from when deciding which product
would be best suited to your requirements.
Factors to be taken into consideration when deciding which model to go for are
:-
a) Capacity of the towing vehicle.
b) Size and frequency of the area to be treated.
c) Ground conditions eg. grass, all-weather surface, or preparing soil for landscaping
etc.
d) The requirement to raise the harrows for transport between fields.
e) Cost.
BASIC
CHAIN HARROWS are ideal for smaller areas and
can be pulled by a mid sized ATV or small car. Their design
hasn’t changed for 50 years, so they are a well -
proven product. When more aggressive treatment is required,
repeated use over the same area will eventually do the
job.
TRAILED
CHAIN HARROWS are suitable for areas of up to
10 hectares, where a larger ATV or 4x4 type towing vehicle
will improve the performance of the harrow by towing at
higher speeds, with the raise and lower frame holding
down the web to prevent it from bouncing. The raise and
lower facility comes into its own moving from one
field to another and returning to store.
SUPER
HARROWS are designed for use behind the largest
ATVs, small tractors or 4x4 vehicles. They provide adjustment
to facilitate the lightest of touches, ideal for all-weather
surfaces, through a whole range of settings up to a really
aggressive mode suitable for thatch removal, muck and
mole hill levelling or soil preparation. Electrically controlled
raise and lower allows use behind a wide range of vehicles
with operation from the drivers seated position. |
